Read the judgment, whatever it arrives as
A filed PDF, a scan from the clerk's office, a photo taken on a phone, a Word file, or an email with the judgment attached.
Digital pages are read directly; scanned pages and photos go through OCR on the firm's own server, one page at a time. Court, case number, parties, principal, fees, costs, rate and dates are pulled into a draft - and anything the document does not state is left blank rather than guessed.
A draft where every field can be checked against the page it came from.
